Our goal in this course is to provide firefighters with the skills needed to prevent catastrophic firefighter injuries and death, along with how to survive such an event. Disorientation, entanglement, personal escape systems, and other common hazards are addressed in this course.

Firefighter Safety and Survival
Course Type: Lecture and Hands on Training
This course is designed to provide the firefighter with tested and time proven techniques to prevent or escape a firefighter injury or fatality. The course includes a 3 hour lecture as well as 8 hours of Hands-On Training,(with optional 2nd Hands-On day). Evolutions will include FF Disorientation, Breaching, Disentanglement, Rapid upper floor window exits, Reduced Profiling methods, and a Mask Confidence Course. Every active interior firefighter is recommended to take this training!
